I miss home today.

I miss the sweet aroma of the warm wind mixed with the morning sun pouring into my bedroom window early on a Summer’s day…

I miss driving down to the Okanagan with my family and spending time at the lake and picking cherries and peaches and driving back home with a trunk full of fruit and a backseat full of our luggage stored in any space to be found in between us kids…

I miss walking by the ocean, hearing the crashing of the waves, looking straight ahead at the glorious mountains, and wondering to myself if this is all for real…

I miss seeing the sunset - the captivating red, pink, orange, yellow colours painted across the sky - set amidst the ocean…

Oh, I could go on and on!

I grew up in a city where evidence of the Creator’s awesome handiwork was all around me.

I miss home today.

“...My dream has always been to share the story of my culture with as many people who want to listen. My grandparent’s story -- especially accounts of their faith, resilience, and hope despite the many obstacles that they endured -- and more recently, the plight of the street children in Armenia -- the very children who taught me some of the songs which are now on this album -- have inspired me. I long to share these stories with others. And as I pass on this music, these stories to others, I hope that people will be as enriched as I have been.”
