We did it!
Yatrika Shah Rais from KPFK’s Global Village and I were able to have our interview yesterday! We were supposed to have this interview while I was in Los Angeles a month ago, but that day turned out to be quite an adventure for me as I shared with all of you. Thankfully, Yatrika was gracious enough to re-schedule — she is such a warm hearted person and we loved meeting her in LA — and she featured me on her Best of 2008 show! Thank you, Yatrika!
I was at my dear friend’s home for the phone interview, so that she could entertain my little one while we spoke. It was much fun! While paying attention to Yatrika’s questions, I was also focussed on my Little One who was squealing while playing with her toys. I am sure that many in Los Angeles and beyond heard her sweet sounds while listening to us discuss Armenian folk music… ah, the joys of live interviews!

Enjoy!
