We’re reading Guess How Much I love You again… and we love it. And then there is The Big Hungry Bear, Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny…and so many more…

One of the many reasons I couldn’t wait to have my own children is I love books… I love reading… and I couldn’t wait to have the chance to read to my own Little Ones…

Now, here we are. Well, we have been reading together since my Little One was just a few days old… and she loves her books; she’ll take them out of the basket and turn the pages, and babble to herself. It is quite a sight!

My sweet sister gave us a great book about dancing ballerinas and we love looking at the pictures in that book. Our favourite book is probably Mama Mine, Mama Mine, a delightful story about the love between a babe and his mom. This book was given to us by one of my brother’s patients – if you can believe that! She has never met me, but my brother had told her about us, and so she wanted to give us a gift.

We also have some Armenian books that we like reading too.

I love spending this time with my child, sharing my love of reading with her… seeing her eyes sparkle with joy as we turn the pages of each book and discover new things together… and I realize without a doubt that I love her right up to the moon…and back.
